Overall the stay was very nice. I just would like for the rooms to be a little more kept up with.

Breakfast was very good and had a good variety.

You get what you pay for.

Beach, location, food, and time share are not too aggressive.

Sandra, in reception, is rude. Area around the pool dirty all the time. They attend better to tippers. Even though they say that it's not permitted to set aside pool chairs to reserve them by putting a towel over it early in the morning, they still do it, and staff doesn't reinforce the 45 minute max. Actually, they play into it if you tip them.

Everything was wonderful. We had an ocean view room 2nd floor. Access to beach was great. We saw whales. Food and drinks were available close by pools and beach. Our rooms were good size for family of 4.

Construction was a bit noisy across from resort and busy main road, but not bad.

First all inclusive visit to Puerto Vallarta, loved the weather and people.

Without a doubt we liked that the Plaza Pelicanos Grand was right on the beach and there was a spectacular sunset every night. We also liked the relatively small size of the property. This was our first venture to an all inclusive resort in Mexico and we didn’t want to go to a massive resort. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was clean and although the rooms were basic (and looked very little like the photos on line) were well maintained. The highlight of the breakfast bar was the omelette station. The two alfresco dinners with tables setup outside around the pool were excellent.

We were disappointed in the resort’s restaurant. We made reservations for dinner on a Mexican themed night. The menu was limited and food awful. It I was to give the meal a score, it would be 2 out of 5, and only that high because the waitstaff were so personable. The buffet was much better. We approached the concierge on our first morning at the resort to ask about wifi, what the resort offered its guests and if he could recommend any tours of PV. He tried very hard to get us to visit the neighbouring sister property, under construction, with the hopes of booking there next winter. I felt like I was being talked into a timeshare seminar. We ended up booking our tours online and avoiding the concierge desk.

Nice place, food was pretty good. Antonio the food and beverage manager was awesome, he was always so helpful and friendly.

Needing a little attention to freshening up paint in places. Staircase and hallways need touching up and steps need a good scrubbing.

Check in process and staff. Checked into incorrect and very dirty room. In spite of visiting the property and sending an email days before check in, we were not provided with the King room we had requested. The Guest services Manager had to be called. The troubling part is that many guests were in the wrong rooms and all were requesting moves. Not the way we wanted to begin a vacation!

New Years Eve was fantastic we were blown away by how beautiful the evening dinner and dance were excellent and the fire

The staff were fabulous. Laid back atmosphere, Mexican family oriented.

It’s an old Mexican style resort which we prefer, it is not a new resort with all the latest tech but why would you want that it was so nice to unplug. The rooms could do with a few upgrades and a little more variety at the evening meal would be nice. It’s a Mexican hotel with the majority of guests being local..loved it.

Amazing food, poor customer service, old facilities.

Food was excellent. I would return just for how great it was.

The reception staff had terrible customer service that left me with a negative experience. It took me between 3-4 hours just to check in despite already having paid for my family’s stay (14 people). They were unreasonable with their check-in requirements and always blamed booking.com for the trouble. I had to be the intermediary between the hotel and booking.com to resolve a series of issues. Rooms had no internet. The did not accept my credit card payments because I did not have an official form of Mexican identification. The rooms were poorly maintained: 1. The window covers did not fully close; 2. The window cloths were moldy; 3. The restroom vent did not work; 4. The bathtub was stained and not sealed well; 5. Having consistent hot water was unreliable. Facilities staff fixed the jammed window cover. Facilities staff fixed the bathroom fan but left the clogs of dust all over the floor. The only thing that made this stay memorable was the food. It was amazing.

A little cozy resort to rest and recharge.

We liked the overall distribution of all the facilities, locations are close to each other and it feels cozy, super family and friends friendly. Food and beverages always at hand. For the price is a good offer, a little cozy resort to just rest.

The toilet of our room looked old, the bathtub was losing its paint, our room didn't receive any sort of Wi-Fi or mobile signal, we couldn't coordinate with our friends on meeting hours, for example. The restaurant doesn't have a toilet and you have to use the ones in the lobby but the WC doors couldn't be locked which is weird for a lobby's bathroom that has to be accessed by the resort's guests. The skybar could use a bit more love, a good music playlist to make more party atmosphere.

There were a few staff members who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional and they were the saving grace of this property. They are the reason we have contemplated returning.

Decent family resort

Great little economical all inclusive resort. A great way to enjoy the beach and sun without spending as much as at larger places. The buffet food was surprisingly good, although it would have been nice to have more fruit at all meals (only offered at breakfast). We only ate at the seated restaurant once and it was a great meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a good size for the resort and the little shallow kids’ area was nice to have.

Our standard room had very dated bathroom fixtures, eg cracking grout, old shower that sprayed like a hose. The junior suites that our friends stayed in were much nicer, more updated furniture and fixtures. Our air conditioning had to run constantly to keep it comfortable and with that and another loud constant hum, it was quite noisy in the room (we faced away from the pool so didn’t have that noise at least). The bed was a nice large king size, but had an old springy mattress that shook with any tiny movement so sleep was a bit difficult. There are no beach huts/palapas so it’s hard to spend much time on the beach.
